Job Description – Social Media Video Editor

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form videos (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.) to make them engaging, fast-paced, and attention-grabbing.
• Add compelling text animations, captions, and motion graphics to enhance video retention.
• Utilize the latest social media video trends, effects, and transitions to optimize performance.
• Align edits with brand tone and client requirements.
• Stay updated on platform algorithms and best practices to maximize audience engagement.
• Handle basic sound design, music selection, and voice-over syncing.

Requirements:

???? Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in social media video editing (Reels, Shorts, etc.).
• Proficiency in English and Tamil (must understand both languages).
• Strong knowledge of video editing software.
• Experience in text animations, kinetic typography, and motion graphics.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Portfolio showcasing previous short-form video edits.

✨ Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Mandatory):

• Experience in color grading and cinematic edits.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design (Photoshop, Canva) for thumbnails and social media creatives.
