Job Summary

NetApp ONTAP storage operating system is our flagship data management software and serves as the foundation for our hybrid multi-cloud data solutions.

Google Cloud NetApp Volumes is a Google Cloud-native, enterprise-class, high-performance storage service. We are expanding our team and seeking a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer to support our cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Content Creation & Technical Enablement:

• Develop technical presentations, white papers, solution briefs, blogs, and videos.
• Create sizing tools, benchmarking tools, and reference architectures.
• Provide competitive insights and technical messaging for product positioning.

✅ Customer & Partner Engagement:

• Conduct technical sales & partner training.
• Support product launches, trade shows, and conferences.
• Assist in RFP responses and proof-of-concept (PoC) evaluations.

✅ Product Influence & Market Strategy:

• Gather field/customer insights to shape product development & roadmap.
• Identify trends, assess competitors, and suggest product improvements.

✅ Hands-on Expertise & Deployment:

• Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise-scale environments on Google Cloud.
• Work with Google Cloud compute, VMware engine, networking, storage, security, and virtualization.
• Expertise in enterprise SAN protocols like iSCSI, NVMe over TCP is highly desired.

Qualifications & Experience

✔ 10+ years of experience in enterprise software, IT infrastructure, cloud (preferably Google Cloud), or technical marketing.
✔ Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), data management, storage, and security.
✔ Hands-on experience with cloud-based enterprise architectures and customer environments.
✔ Ability to create engaging technical content (blogs, presentations, videos, reports).
✔ Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences (sales, partners, customers, executives).
✔ Experience in technical sales, competitive positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
✔ Ability to work collaboratively in global product, marketing, and sales teams.

Education:
???? Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
