Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage Costco's social media strategy to increase brand visibility and engagement.
• Create engaging, creative, and high-quality content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics of social media campaigns to determine effectiveness and make adjustments as needed.
• Engage with followers, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align social media strategies with overall marketing goals.
• Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies, and integrate them into Costco’s social media practices.
• Plan and execute paid social media campaigns to drive traffic and conversions.
• Create and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of posts and updates.
• Handle social media crisis management as necessary while maintaining a positive brand image.

Required Skills and Capabilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager, Community Manager, or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics, etc.).
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Creativity and ability to produce visually engaging content.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of SEO and paid social media advertising is a plus.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience managing social media accounts for organizations, brands, or individuals.
• Experience with paid social media campaigns and advertisements across multiple platforms.
• Proven track record of growing and engaging social media communities.
• Experience in the retail or e-commerce industry is desirable.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position with flexible working hours.
• Approximately 40 hours per week, with some flexibility based on project requirements and deadlines.
