Most of our Traveler Care leaders started in this position, and we have team members in almost every Amex GBT department.

Key Responsibilities

As a Travel Consultant, you will:

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (individuals and groups).
• Analyze and research travel options to anticipate traveler needs and offer additional services.
• Book domestic and international travel (air, road, rail, and accommodations) of varying complexity.
• Use Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, and Amadeus (training may be provided).
• Ensure compliance with customer travel policies, service provider regulations, and legal requirements.
• Provide excellent phone service and handle special customer requests.
• Collaborate with your team to improve service levels through coaching, mentoring, and feedback.
• Work with markets outside India, including APAC, EMEA, and NORAM regions.

What We’re Looking For

✔ Passion for client service excellence – proactively anticipating customer needs.
✔ Native GDS expertise (Sabre or Galileo is mandatory).
✔ Professional written & verbal communication skills.
✔ Experience with international markets (ex-India exposure is a must).
✔ Strong attention to detail and ability to safeguard personal traveler information.
✔ Knowledge of the travel industry (business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservations).
✔ Problem-solving skills – ability to resolve issues independently or work with suppliers.
✔ Collaboration and openness to feedback.
