Senior Executive or Executive - Flight Operations Support

Job Summary
The Senior Executive/Executive - Flight Operations Support will assist the client organization and stakeholders in facilitating safe and efficient flight operations. This role involves coordinating with client organizations for flight schedules and operational support functions while adhering to relevant regulations, policies, processes, and standards. Responsibilities will be performed under the supervision of the Flight Operations Support Manager.

Key Responsibilities

1. NOTAM Monitoring and Analysis

   • Collect, monitor, review, and analyze NOTAMs to support flight operations.

2. Weather Monitoring and Analysis

   • Gather, interpret, and analyze meteorological data to support advanced assessments, pre-flight planning, and in-flight monitoring.

3. Route Planning

   • Create, review, and optimize flight routes, ensuring safety, compliance, and adherence to client policies.
   • Coordinate with air navigation service providers to secure necessary approvals.

4. Operational Flight Planning

   • Assist in operational flight planning, including route planning, fuel requirements, altitude profiles, aircraft performance, and regulatory compliance.
   • Coordinate weight and balance calculations and aircraft performance data.

5. Overflying Analysis/Authorization

   • Assist with overflight analysis and coordinate necessary permissions from aviation authorities.
   • Monitor airspace restrictions and related changes.

6. Flight Tracking and Monitoring

   • Support flight progress monitoring and adherence to planned routes.
   • Coordinate with stakeholders to provide real-time support during unusual or emergency situations.

7. Aircraft Delivery and Re-delivery

   • Support aircraft delivery/re-delivery, including ferry flight planning, managing documentation, and coordination with stakeholders.

8. Technical Documentation

   • Update and coordinate technical documentation periodically.
   • Assist in managing content for technical documentation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Previous experience in flight operations or a related field (airlines, general aviation, ATC, or airports).
• Strong understanding of aviation regulations, weather patterns, NOTAMs, and operational flight planning.
• Experience in flight dispatch, OCC, or crew scheduling.
• Exposure to flight planning and crew scheduling software is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple flights simultaneously, and resolve real-time issues.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Aviation, Aeronautics, or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant aviation-related certifications or training (advantageous).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment

• This role may require shift work to ensure 24/7 operations.
