About Us:

Accurex Accounting is a UK-based accounting firm providing expert financial solutions, including tax, accounting, and business advisory services. We work with businesses of all sizes and are expanding our team in India to support our growing UK client base.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an Experienced Accounts Assistant based in India with expertise in UK year-end accounts preparation and tax returns. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working with UK accounting firms in an outsourced accounting company and a strong understanding of UK accounting and tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end financial statements for UK limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
• Process and file corporation tax (CT600) and self-assessment tax returns (SA100).
• Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Perform bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, and accounts payable management.
• Perform reconciliations of all control accounts such as payroll reconciliation, fixed asset and hire purchase reconciliation and VAT Liability and VAT turnover reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with UK accounting and HMRC regulations.
• Liaise with UK-based accountants and clients as required.
• Assist with other accounting tasks as required.

- QuickBooks

- Xero

- Digita, Taxcalc, Forbes

Qualifications

- 3+ years' of professional accounting experience

- UK Outsourced Accounting Experience minimum 2 years.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience

- Experience and proficient with Excel

- Good written communication.

- Experience in QuickBooks, Xero, Digita, Sage, TaxCalc

Fully remote role
UK Working Hours – 12.00pm to 9.30pm IST with 1 Hour Lunch break.
