Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced BI Consultant with 5+ years of expertise in SAP BW and SAP BusinessObjects (ideally in the Media industry). The ideal candidate will have strong BI development, administration, and programming skills, along with a deep understanding of SAP Applications & Modules (FI-CO, SD, MM).

You should be a dynamic and proactive professional, capable of working both independently and collaboratively with business and 3rd-party teams.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Project & Team Coordination:

• Manage both Project and Support BI teams, coordinating workload and resources.

✅ Business Intelligence Strategy & Development:

• Contribute to the Global BI vision by working closely with Technical Analysts and Business Analysts.
• Ensure BI solutions align with SAP’s strategy, exploring new SAP technologies like BOBJ 4.3, HANA, Lumira, etc.
• Lead the design, delivery, and maintenance of BI technical and functional architecture.
• Participate in architecture and capacity planning activities.
• Define standards, processes, and governance to support a global reporting vision.

✅ Solution Implementation & Support:

• Develop functional and technical specifications for BI solutions.
• Create testing scripts and training materials for new functionalities and enhancements.
• Provide Level 3 support to the Support Team (occasionally Level 2).

Required Experience & Skills

✔ Minimum 5 years of BI experience (preferably in the Media industry).
✔ Strong SAP BW & BusinessObjects administration, development, and programming expertise.
✔ Solid understanding of SAP Applications & Modules (FI-CO, SD, MM).

✅ Technical Expertise:

• SAP BW & BusinessObjects architecture, development, support, and monitoring.
• Experience in building and managing international/multi-country data warehouses.
• Expertise in CMC Configuration, BOBJ/BW Security, SSO Authentication, SSL & Promotion Management.
• Hands-on SAP BusinessObjects end-to-end upgrade experience.
• BI Reporting on SAP Modules (FI-GL, CO-PA, SD, MM, etc.).
• Proficiency in HANA, BPC, SLT, SyBase IQ, ABAP OO, VBA, SQL, HTML5, CSS, UI5, and Tomcat Web Server Configuration.
• Deep understanding of Modern Data Warehousing concepts (Star Schema, LSA++).
• Development expertise in JavaScript/UI5/Fiori, AMPD, CDS, and Open ODS.
• Experience with SAP BWonHANA 7.5sps22 & Google Big Query.
• Knowledge of Bash scripting, Web Services, APIs, and OData.

✅ Nice to Have:

• Experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), B/4 HANA, and SAP DataSphere.
• Expertise in SAP BPConHANA 10.1 Standard/Embedded.
