Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Intern to join our team. This role involves managing payment processes, verifying financial transactions, and ensuring timely payments to vendors and employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Payment & Expense Management:

  • Track all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, and statements.

  • Verify expense reports and prepare employee paychecks.

  • Ensure timely vendor payments and maintain records of outstanding credits.

• Transaction Processing:

  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.

  • Prepare bills, invoices, and manage bank deposits.

  • Facilitate invoice payments by sending reminders and contacting clients.

• Compliance & Reporting:

  • Work on sales and service tax submission and payment through government portals.

  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance.

  • Maintain historical financial records and generate necessary reports.

• Administrative Support:

  • Verify receipts against reimbursement amounts.

  • Handle ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Recent graduate or fresher with an interest in finance and accounting.

• Basic understanding of accounts payable and financial transactions.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
