Job Description

Airbus India is looking for a passionate and motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to join their team. This internship will focus on various aspects of electrical design, network quality analysis, and simulation exercises for aircraft systems. The role involves conducting electrical load analysis, providing engineering solutions, and collaborating with different teams for continuous improvement. Interns will also contribute to feasibility studies, simulation tasks, and optimization activities while ensuring high standards of performance in terms of time, cost, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Electrical Design & Analysis

   • Perform network quality analysis and electrical structural change analysis.
   • Analyze electrical loads at different levels (busbar, TRU, generator) and conduct overload analysis.
   • Prepare ELA (Electrical Load Analysis) documentation and reports.
   • Respond to various electrical load analysis requests and provide timely delivery of analysis for Airbus commercial aircraft.

2. Modeling & Digitalization

   • Conduct feasibility studies for new change proposals.
   • Use tools like MATLAB, SIMULINK, and SIMSCAPE to ideate, design, and size electrical systems.
   • Perform compromise studies for various projects and provide framework/installation input for development studies.
   • Conduct simulation-based prognosis calculations for electrical systems to ensure effective and timely project delivery.
   • Analyze electrical data and test results to provide insights on design and improvement.

3. Integrated Activities

   • Initiate optimization studies and propose innovative solutions.
   • Collaborate with other teams to improve processes, methodologies, and tools.
   • Maintain awareness of potential compliance risks and act with integrity, adhering to Airbus's reputation and sustainable growth.

Requirements

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical load analysis and network quality examination.
  • Proficient with tools like MATLAB, SIMULINK, and SIMSCAPE.
  • Ability to perform compromise studies and optimization exercises.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within teams.
  • Proactive in identifying innovative solutions to improve processes.

• Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of electrical system modeling, digitalization, and electrical boundary analysis.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering principles.
