Disney is seeking a meticulous and experienced HR Executive - Payroll to join our dynamic team in Chennai. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with company policies and relevant labor laws. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional passionate about people operations and payroll management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including salary calculation, allowances, and payments.
• Maintain and update payroll records by gathering and verifying employee data.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements such as taxes, provident fund, gratuity, and other benefits.
• Address payroll-related queries and provide timely resolutions to employee concerns.
• Collaborate with the HR team to align payroll processes with HR policies and procedures.
• Generate and present payroll reports for internal and external audits.
• Stay updated with changes in labor laws and tax regulations impacting payroll.
• Support other HR functions, including onboarding, performance reviews, and leave management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an HR Executive, Payroll Specialist, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems.
• Familiarity with labor laws, taxation, and legal compliance.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

Experience

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in payroll management or related HR functions.
• Experience in handling multi-location payrolls is a plus.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Flexible working hours available).
• Occasional overtime during payroll cycles.

• Strong knowledge of labor and tax laws.
