Job Logistics Summary:

Position: Google Apps Scripts Developer
Type: Full-Time Contractor
Location: Remote (India preferred; open to other locations)
Compensation: Based on experience
Timeline: We are looking to hire as soon as possible but will take the time to find the right candidate.

SellCord is a fast-growing e-commerce agency helping brands scale successfully on Walmart's marketplace. We operate in a fully remote environment with a strong emphasis on collaboration, automation, and performance. We’re now looking for a Google Apps Scripts Developer to support internal workflow automation and increase efficiency across our day-to-day operations.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone with deep experience working with Google Apps Script, especially within Google Sheets-based environments. You’ll work closely with leadership to scope, build, and maintain automations that make our internal processes faster and more scalable.

You’ll need to be comfortable working autonomously, collaborating across teams, and developing clean, reliable scripts. Since this is a globally remote team, availability during PST (or EST at minimum) hours is essential for collaboration.

We're Looking for You If...

• You’ve worked extensively with Google Apps Script and are confident in building both simple and complex automations.

  You enjoy improving operations and finding ways to eliminate manual work.

  You’ve developed Google Sheets-based solutions that integrate with other GSuite apps (Docs, Forms, Drive, Gmail).

• 
  You’re a clear communicator and can work independently while keeping stakeholders updated.

  You're comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy building structure from the ground up.

• 
  You're available during PST or EST hours for real-time collaboration.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Scripting & Automation:

• Build and maintain custom Google Apps Scripts to support process automation in Google Sheets and across the GSuite ecosystem.

• 
  Troubleshoot, optimize, and document existing scripts for better performance and usability.

Process Improvement:

• Work closely with team directors to identify bottlenecks and build automation that simplifies manual workflows.

• 
  Provide suggestions on how to scale automations as the company grows.

Collaboration:

• Communicate clearly with team members to understand needs and propose scripting solutions.

• 
  Ensure clean code practices and proper documentation for long-term maintenance.

Skills That Will Enable You to Thrive:

• Extensive experience with Google Apps Script, especially in a GSuite-heavy environment

• 
  Strong understanding of automation principles and the ability to simplify complex workflows

• 
  Knowledge of integrating Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Docs, Forms, Gmail, Drive)

  Clear and proactive communication style, especially in remote collaboration

  Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
