Key Responsibilities

✅ Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and style.
✅ Ensure adherence to Chicago Manual Style and other editorial guidelines.
✅ Fact-check information and verify sources.
✅ Collaborate with writers to improve the quality, readability, and flow of content.
✅ Proofread final drafts for errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
✅ Maintain consistency in tone, style, and formatting across documents.

Required Qualifications

✔ 4-5 years of experience as a content editor/copy editor.
✔ Excellent command of the English language with strong writing skills.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other word processing tools.
✔ Experience in journalism, proposal writing, research, and technical writing.
✔ Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
✔ Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
✔ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

⭐ Familiarity with various style guides.
⭐ Experience working with content management systems (CMS).
⭐ Knowledge of proofreading symbols and markup language.
⭐ 4 years of Microsoft Excel experience (Preferred).
