Your Role:

As a Junior Accounting & Bookkeeping Specialist at BMI, you'll be at the forefront of our Accounting and Business Finance initiatives, helping to optimize the bookkeeping and accounting-related processes for our clients. We believe in your potential, so no experience or formal credentials are required. All we ask for is your unyielding passion for the "numbers" side of business, and a genuine love for technology. We'll provide the training and mentorship you need to excel in this role.
 

Responsibilities:

• Migration of data from competing accounting software platforms to Zoho Books
• Setup of Zoho Books for a variety of organizations, operating in various industries
• Cleaning up, troubleshooting, and correcting legacy accounting mistakes to meet generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Creating financial reports, such as P&L, balance sheets, expense, and payroll reports
• Recommending enhancement to financial management processes
• Generating analytics reports and dashboards based on financial data
• Leverage our accounting software (Zoho finance suite) to optimize both internal and client processes
• Complete tasks related to setting up accounting systems and streamlining accounting processes for our clients
